Sipnosis: Shama is an Hijra, a man who considers himself a woman. Disregarded by his family, and after spending time living with other Hijras, of which there are more than five million in India, Shama meets a man named Karthik Seth who hires "her" to take care of his wife, who is terminally ill. Shama becomes an essential part of the family. She feels useful and happy, but fears about what will become of her when the wife passes away.
