Sipnosis: The play is an adaptation of author Skármeta's novel involving poet Pablo Neruda and the young postman in Isla Negra, where Neruda had his home. It is a bitter/sweet tragic comedy which takes place in the tense days prior to the military coup which violently overthrew the elected government in Chile.
